OK, I know I am bad wih posting. I thinks its because I don't want to jinks myself bcause I thing my hair is actually growing! (so I am a little
)
I am in love with the Elasta QP line (for now). I've been washing once a week with their relaxed hair shampoo and following with the intense conditioner w/plastic cap under dryer for 10mins. I've been doing con washes every night with either the intense conditioner or Pantene Sleek and Smooth (I have a huge bottle and I refuse to throw out!). I follow with the mango butter as a leave in with a little Africa's Best oil.
I'd been doing a modified Adrienne ponytail method. I pull mine up in the AM after cardio with some Elasta oil mosturizer and wrap a cutoff stocking around my bun then attach my ponytail. I've been making my own with this method I posted before ( http://www.btinternet.com/~quinnster1/hair/hairpieces.html ) see ponyfall. The drawstring ponytaily have really been hurting my head and I just didn't want to chance breakage. Plus when I make it using kanekelon hair, its closer to my real hair texture.
I just bought a Quick Weave, by Outre to mix things up, plus give my edges a break from being pulled back. This one - but I brush it out a bit, its a little "too styled" for me. I do a 2 strand twist at night on my hair so its wavy in the AM
I also bought some of Profective's Anti-Thinning formula for my edges. Its a little heavy so I only use it once a day (it says 2x).
All and all, I think I have signifacantly streamline my routine. I haven't done measurements, but it definitely looks longer tha when I got my last trim (7 weeks ago)
