Hello there, ladies!

I am addicted to trying out new techniques not just for growing my hair but keeping it healthy. I’ve tried “hairdrenaline” when it was all the rage (in fact I introduced it to a few hair boards), I’ve experimented with water only washing to huge success, I’ve even put peanut butter in my hair and that too was a hit and my most popular experiment has been the “inversion method” for that I researched on health risks and even interviewed and conducted surveys—told you, I am addicted. So that rounds out my little intro, thanks for reading and I look forward to posting with you ladies.

Girl, you have everybody and their mama tryin' the inversion method on here.

Anywho welcome aboard girlie! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

:welcome: !

Oooh! Pretty hair!
I see pictures like this and immediately want to fro mine out! Then I think of detangling and I settle on a chunky twist out. lol
What did peanut butter do for you? I'm forever experimenting too! :-)

Welcome to the board, pretty lady. I just saw your youtube video on water only the other day. I had to turn it off after you said "no oils, no products, or anything" whatsoever.

Welcome frotastic!!!
I watched your video on inversion last week, it was very informative. Your progress is excellent

Lol, sounds crazy right but no I do not use anything whatsoever while adopting my water only regimen (not conditioner, not shampoo, not moisturizer.....) and I do this every other month.

LMAO. I thought the same thing when I discovered water only on the white boards, that is, until I tried it. :-)

kxlot79, I was suffering from a really bad case of moisture overload and the peanut butter DC fixed it-my elasticity was absolutely amazing and my 'fro looked so lush. Science says large molecules can't penetrate the shaft therefore won't make a difference...but my hair said "nu-uh" You can check out my before/after and the recipe here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGDCfrYcTso

My regimen has changed so many times so I will share the one responsible for the bulk of my growth/retention and surprise, surprise, it's the reggie that got me from pretty much bald to TWA in a few months.

Daily:
Moisturize (w/S curl)
Butter (Shea butter)
Oil (Seal w/ oil of the day, rotated b/w 6 oils)

Co washed every other day*
*Night before cowash, Pre poo with mix of coconut oil/honey/avocado oil.

Day of co wash:
1. Rinse out Pre poo
2. Cholesterol dc ( every other week used mayonnaise dc as well)
Co-washed w/ whatever conditioner
3. Used kimmaytube leave in after each wash.

Some can keep it simple and still get good results--not me ;-( My hair is like a lazy AF student who needs to be pushed into doing homework)
