Has anyone found a cheaper substitute for this product that is available in drugstores or sallys/walmart/target?

No replacement!!! :)

Even comparable products (from other online merchants) are about the same price.

I have never seen BSS products as good.

I agree there is no replacement for Qhemet's products at Sally's, Walmart etc. I really like everything that I have tried. I don't know of anything comparable except for Asha's products which are in the same price range and you do have to order online.

Cantu Breakage Defense moisturizer was the closest I found. It's smooth and thick like the heavy cream. It's a really good moisturizer and leaves your hair silky soft. I don't think there's any bad ingredients either.

Yeah, I don't think there is replacement for that heavy cream. Castor Oil is the main ingrediant in the heavy cream, so you could try to just use some castor oil to see what kind of results you get.

Thanks for the response.

I just broke down and order 3 tubs of this stuff. Its just too good, and it works. Might as well stick with it and support a Black owned business in the process.

Yep, you sound like me. I hate dishing out the cash for my Sidr Tree Butter Balm, but I can not and may not ever be able to find anything that works as good for a cheaper price. :)
