It's interesting to know that she does a braid out. I used to think that was her natural wave. Beautiful Hair :)

I love that natural look a braidout out gives. For years I had been doing twistouts but I just started doing braidouts now and I like them a lot better. They also improve the look of my ends. It just like Amiel said, the braidout sets and protects the hair. :)

if only my natural hair texture was as easy 2 deal with as hers!!!!

anyway, even as a relaxed head shes right about not washing too much. theres just no point in the long run it can lead to gettin trims more often..in my case!

CandyC how often are you SHAMPOOING? Do you do a water rinse daily?

MizaniMami: i spritz daily (real lightly) but i shampoo every 7-10 days now. it was makin my ends thin and weak!!!! now they r strong and wirey (just how i want them)

Here, here. Washing less often has definitely improved the health and texture of my hair. :yep:

I just love the simplicity of her hair regimen and by the looks of her hair she must be doing something right.

What beautiful hair she has! Although I'll bet stylists would be telling her she is in serious need of a trim. I don't think so at all. My ends look like that when crinkly and my hair is naturally a bit thinner at the ends, but every stylist I go to says, "you need a trim".

Isn't it beautiful? That's part of the reason why I don't go to stylists anymore. They often have a separate vision from what you have for your hair. A friend of mine at work was sad, she said she had had her hair cut, that her stylist told her she had to cut all the "dead ends." HELLO! Hair is dead. Yeessh. :ohwell:

I LOVE her hair, (yes stalking)

we actually may have similar hair textures and i am not sure what mine is but hers is WAY longer than mine

i am going to take up some of her regimine and see how it works for me, i usually dont wash my hair much anyway, i wonder how often she combs her hair?? only when she washes it, or does she ever comb it dry?

Thanks soooo much for posting this Mahalialee! Amiel is one of my hair idols. Her hair is beautiful and it's refreshing to see that she only washes every 2 to 3 weeks like I do. I really think this is important for me. I'm going to start doing braid-outs like she does. So inspiring.

I'll give it to her, that Vitapointe is a classic product that never goes outta style. After checking out Chicoro's fotki, and seeing she also uses it, I decided to revisit this product and have promptly fallen in love with it. :drunk:

You said it Pokahontas! There's a $2 off coupon for the big ol' tub of Vitapointe at Sally's this month. I don't know if I'll be able to resist! :trampolin

Everybody be fore warned, the first ingriedient is mineral oil. But the quality is really good though. Keracare products have mineral oil and beeswax and girls have great sucess with them. That's what's in the Vitapointe too, it's kinda cool that it's not water based, water is the 2nd ingriedient. Plus this product gives the hair an amazing luster. :weird:
