Thanks a bunch KiniKakes!!! I must also say that I look at your album from time to time for inspiration. I don't use henna to achieve my hair color. I use Clairol's Textures and Tones in Bronze.

Thanks Candiss!! I color it myself and have been for years. My naural color is medium brown. I have to admit that I am more knowledgeable now than before LHCF when it comes to applying my color. Overall, Textures and Tones is my favorite and I love the fact that it is ammonia-free.

No problem! I color my hair three weeks after my relaxer. I live by the motto - color a perm don't perm a color. It helps that I relax my hair every 10-12 weeks so everything isn't so close together. When I color my hair, I follow the directions VERY carefully. I have someone to help me by holding a mirror so I make sure the back of my hair is completed correctly. I do add coconut oil to the conditioner that comes in the box and deep condition under the dryer for 30 minutes. After I wash out the conditioner, I rollerset with Giovanni Direct and Redken Heat Glide. I color my hair about every four months. There are times I have gone longer. I hope that this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
