i dont check it MULTIPLE times a day but i do check it ONCE a day lmao. i just like looking at my hair. i didnt realize it was really growing until i looked at before pics.

:bye: me. I'll be honest I used to be like that. Looking at it so often isnt going to make your hair grow any faster. It'll grow dont worry.:yep:

LOL. Not multiple times a day but I do it multiple times a week. I really can't help it. I have to force myself not to do it.

Nope, you're not alone. I do this too. I am in twists now, which I thought would help curb my enthusiasm; however, that is not the case. I can swear it's growing faster this way :look::lachen:

LLLOOOLLL...GUILTY! I don't know why I do this. Every time I moisturize I check..which is about 2x a day. Idk why I do. LOL..it's a sickness I need to stop..help! LOL

Wow I thought I was the only nut that did this. Nappystorm we can be crazy together!!

I check the length all the time. Then I check to see if I'm REALLY BSL. Then I put my hair in a ponytail to cut it out.

Like you said this is why I also wear braids..lol. If not I would check it like 2x a day like it has grown. As of today Nov 28,2008 I have not seen my length since September 1, 2008. I'm excited to see where I am at :)

nah, but I used to do a length check every week, but that was making me insane (measuring potential growth...what would it be at the end of the month). Now I do it ever 2-3 weeks (only because I'm measuring my hair for an experiment) otherwise I would do it once a month.

I only throughly checked it a couple of months ago. I give it the look over after I straighten it out.
Nothing is wrong with checking it a lot though.

Its been an obsession of mines since i was a teen.... Soon as i start to feel "scalp coilies"(usually after 4 weeks post) im in the mirror pressing random sections of hair and when it gets past 8 weeks i go even further... Ill take shed hairs and measure the newgrowth then measure the overall strand... Checking to see how strong it is.....etc!!! Is there a cure for this? I need some serious hair discipline!!! :pullhair:
