I just finished washing my hair and my conditioner was running low so I cut the bottle open to dig some out...there was a whole heap inside. When I was trying to shake it out it was not coming out at all...I will be doing this from now on.

Nope I do it too. I got special sharp scissors just for that task  My friends make fun of me but I'm like whatever, I wind up getting 2-3 more weeks worth of products out of the bottle. I do this w/ my facial cleansers & creams too.

Nope.

My mom always did that. When I was younger, I knew better than to throw out a bottle of shampoo/conditioner/lotion when I "thought" it was finished. My mom used to take it out of the garbage, complain about the cost, and told me I was wasting her money. If she had a new bottle of the same item, she used to put the leftovers into that if there was room. (She called that consolidation. :look: )

Now I'm paying for my stuff, I surely get my money's worth.

Yep, I cut open bottles to get my money's worth all the time! I do it with almost everything!

I do this with my liter sized bottle of Kenra. I store it upside down when its running low and bang the bottom of it when its time to use. I've gotten at least another month out of it this way.

Me too! I like to get my moneys worth with everything be it conditioner, washing up liquid, shower gel etc etc

i tip it upside down when im running low until all the last drops comes out. I used to cut open the bottle but this works just as well 4me.

I have always done this, it is like a game...trying to get all of the product out (leaving it upside down and then cutting the bottle, tube, whatever). My ex-roommate thought this was so funny because I didn't care about the cost of the product but I made sure that I got all of it.

No you are not the only one. I will cut open a bootle of Wella Kolestral in a minute to get the last bit of it out. I even scrap the sides for every last drop.

I do this also, from shampoo (Suave to Kenra) to toothpaste. No need to throw it away. Its funny though because on the other hand I don't eat leftovers and will through them away without thought.

Forgot to add especially the samples!
