Or just being damn lazy? I am currently 30 weeks post, I think- my last telax was mid-November-and I just don't feel like doing it again. I guess I'm trying to decide if I really need to; I don't have a clear line of demarcation even though I know for sure my hair has grown, I'm wearing it wet and in buns or something almost every day, and I keep looking at the last 2-3" of my hair and how straight it is and it's irking me...does this mean that I've unofficially decided to transition? Am I doing a Jay-Z and Beyonce' to my hair? :look:Ioknow, just thinking out loud

ETA: I know I left the L out of my title and I can't fix it--Damn it all!! I hate titles w/typos!

Eisani I am so sorry to hijack your thread!

I think you should keep going. If I could ever go 30 weeks I dont think I would texlax again. Or I would keep holding out until I got tired.

You need a medal for going so long. I went 12 and I thought I was gonna go crazy towards the end.

Thanks yall. BTW, I was crackin up when I saw that siggy too. Gangsta Obama. Photoshop is something else! Love your wedding pic SAL aka NL :yep:!

Keep going, your hair is awesome ... I went 18 weeks and I couldn't go any longer ... I was having severe breakage/shedding ... I had to get it cut in layers ... I had BSL now I'm at SL (which is the longest layer). I would love to go natural. My hair had stopped growing at BSL - I couldn't get past it.

I think I've decided to just see what happens. I could always slap some crack in there if need be :lachen:It's just for some reason I don't wanna give it an official title (hence the Jay and B reference) until I know for sure, for sure what I'm doing.

lol @ Jay and Bey.

I don't know girl, If I made it for thirty weeks I'd be dancing in the streets. I mean do you know how long that is??? :spinning: hehe Seriously though, if you don't feel the need to heed the call of the creamy crack just keep it moving. :look:

Your hair is absolutely beautiful! Lub da avatar.

^^ Thanks! I'm going to give myself until maybe October and see how it goes. Wish me luck! :crossfingers:

Good luck! Your hair is beautiful and I agree if you made it this long, why not keep going? Only thing, just make sure you keep taking care of your hair, esp. around the demarcation line, but you probably have that down to a science now. I agree, be "JayZ and Beyonce" about it until you've made up your mind so that there is less guilt/pressure if you decide not to do it. And keep in mind, some people only relax one or two times a year, so maybe you can do that also ... You have so many options.

Yea, I normally stretch up to 6 months anyway but I guess since I've figured out what's what as far as my hair goes, and there seriously is no line of demarcation (even blown out) thanks to my product knowledge, I just don't feel the need. I'm officially Jay and Bey'ing it
