I use the Fruit Of The Earth aloe gel to smooth it back into a pony tail. I like it, doesn't leave my hair hard at all.

I use the Lily of the Valley Aloe Vera Juice mixed with castor and vatika oil to moisturize my hair after I wash. I don't notice a big difference when I don't use it though...

I don't use it personally but I recommend the Lilly of the Valley brand. Its good for light hold if you need it.

I use lily of the desert aloe vera gel and juice in my homemade moisturizer and my hair loves it!!

I noticed how everyone here was raving about aloe vera gel and decided to try it. I LOVE IT! It lays my edges down and gives my hair a shine when I do a ponytail.

I'm natural and use it mixed with shea butter when I twist, and it makes
a lovely twistout.

Aloe Vera was the first product that I was told helps your hair grow, especially if you ingest it (Aloe vera juice etc.) I actually find myself using products that contain Aloe. Big fan of the gel for the same reasons everyone else stated.
