No. It does not state it needs to be refridgerated. I've had mine for about 4 or 5 months, possibly longer.

Mine is called "Longs Pacific Sun Aloe Vera Gel." I got mine from Big Lots.

@ladychoong I haven't tried that powder but it looks nice. Looks like I could mix it in my shea butter and get the benefits without the mess or preservative.
