I'm getting ready to break down and buy a styling product. I'm tired of my braidout turning into an undefined frizz puff after a few hours. I'm debating between AVG and KCCC. Any thoughts/comparisons/suggestions?

I haven't tried avg for braid outs but I really like using a small amount of kccc in each braid then sealing with a homemade shea butter mix. I think the shea butter is what cuts down on frizz though.

My mom uses AVG for her twist outs along with her own homemade flax seed cream gel. She gets excellent results each time. Her twistouts last for up to 2 weeks, but she hardly ever leaves them that long. She has never used KCCC, but she loves some AVG.
