Aloe vera gel users come here!!!

OK so are yall using the aloe vera gel that's used to treat sunburn (ie the green jelly looking stuff) or something else? I want to try it but I don't want to put the wrong stuff on my hair.

Some people do use fresh aloe vera, straight from the plant. I use organic aloe vera gel that I purchase from www.mountainroseherbs.com.

I buy food grade 100% Aloe Vera Jelly at a health food store. Supposedly it helps your body absorb vitamins and is good for general health. I use this grade b/c I don't have to worry about what else might be in there and I get a huge bottle for about $7

I've just started using a 100% organic aloe vera gel.

I used it in the past and found it drying to my hair but now i've found it agreeing with me. Maybe my hair is in better health.
