Hey Ladies,

I would like to know how do you use this conditioner? I have used it in the past and it always made my hair feel heavy. I never followed the directions and usually left it on for 15 minutes with heat

Could you also please post you hair type?

I love humectress, I am 4a or 4b. I usually just leave it on for the specified time, no longer than that. It makes my hair feel nice and soft.

I'm 4a, I prefer to use it mixed with EVOO for a FEW minutes. All of the times I've tried to use it with heat or for an extended time, I also got heavy hair.

hmmm, I must have an older bottle bc mine says leave in 3 minutes and wash out. Also, u may be using too much. I wouldnt use any more than a quarter size amount. I really like it but I always use a leave in afterwards.

I'm 4b. I use it with heat usually for 30 mins or sometimes I just wash out in the shower. Never had problems either way.

I use this as a moisturizing deep conditioner, with heat, without heat; straight from the bottle or add natural oils. I have left in from 3 minutes to 1 hour and each time I get awesome results. My 4b relaxed hair LOVES this conditioner, hands down. Humectress is the best moisturizing conditioner I've found for use after a traditional shampoo -- been using for over 10 years with excellent results always.

I tried using as condition only wash, and did not like because left my hair too heavy -- I only use now after a proper shampoo. I found that thinner conditioners (suave, vo5, etc.) work better for my condition only washes because adds just enough moisture without weighing hair down.

I tried using as leave-in, but again, did not like because left my hair too weighed down.

I'm a relaxed 4b and my hair loves Humectress! I deep condition with it for 30 minutes with a cap (no heat) and it leaves my hair detangled and very moisturized after rinsing. It doesn't work for my hair as a leave-in - I use Headress for that.

I love Humectress. I am 4a/b natural. I usually apply the conditioner then put a plastic bag on my hair and leave it in for about 30-45 minutes. My hair is soft and detangled and very strong. I also use it as a leave in.

I use it on my hair and I'm 4b I mix it with Honey and it works well. My daughter is also 4B but her hair is softer than mine. The humectress did make her hair feel heavy, so instead of towel drying her hair then applying the conditioner I apply it while her hair is soaking wet - I alternate the time limits and heat. This technique stopped the heavy feeling and left her hair well conditioned and nice.

I love Humectress also. I mix it with a bit of EVOO and use it as a leave-in and as an instant conditioner (leave in for 5 minutes and risne out). Leaves the hair very soft. Ive never sued it as a deep conditioner.

I've used it as a leave-in for at least ten years. I love it & it is a staple. THe only nexxus product I can't do without. I also use it for setting airdried rollersets. It comes outs wonderfully.

I'm a 4a and I use it as a deep conditioner- I put it on my hair for about 30 min. no heat and it leaves my hair nice and moisturized but not weighed down.. You should try it w/o heat and see if that works better. : )

I'm 4a and I deep condition with it for 20-30 minutes under a hooded dryer. It doesn't leave it heavy, it leaves it shiny, bouncy, and moisturized. I like it so much that I've started using it as a leave in.
