All-Natural Perm??

Hi Colemtd :)

Unfortunately, I've never ever heard of any natural perm or relaxer. There are a few natural recipes that can loosen curls a bit. But it is verrrrry slight, and will not straighten at all.

There is currently a relaxer that claims to be at least semi natural. The Phyto one seems to be made of soy and egg extracts, but it also contains chemical.

I've never heard of an all-natural relaxer. That's like an oxymoron.
Yeah it sounds weird, but I overheard some stylists talking about one recently but I never caught the name of it..

I started using Phyto for this same reason. I continue to use it because it turned out to be the BEST RELAXER EVER (when used as directed). :)

I just don't understand how a relaxer can be all-natural and still straighten your hair. The Phyto relaxer is the closest to "natural," but it still has chemicals in it to straighten.
