I don't know if this has already been brought up, but Oxygen has a new reality show depicting us in a negative and stereotypical fashion. Color of change has organized a petition to have Oxygen not air the show. Please view short clip and then sign petition of you agree that it should not be aired. Thanks guys!

Signed. And sent a scathing note of my own. That is insulting and also takes advantage of these young people as well as perpetuating an ingrained stereotype, created by the media since slavery times, of the (generally) poor black family. It's sick. It needs to end.

I guess I have a different point of view.
I would be upset with Oxygen if they created a show (sitcom, drama) with fictional characters like these. They haven't. It is no different than any other pathetic reality show where people are exploiting themselves. I can't wait till the reality show trend goes away.
The people I have the problem with is this man-whore, his pathetic excuses, and his stable of triflin' women. They are the ones who are doing a disservice to our people. Our own people are bringing us down instead of lifting us up.
The way to stop it (the show), is to not watch it.
