Has anyone ever used this? From the directions I found online you are suppose to apply it to clean, towel blotted hair, then use a heat source (they suggested hot iron) to seal it in, then rinse again. It also says if necessary to shampoo and reapply the treatment.

Anyone familiar with this @ all? I only found one review for it online and it was a good review. Other than that I can't find any info on it. I'm dying to try it though.

achangedlife: I've seen it online (I'm a big Alfaparf fan) and it seems similar to Kerastase Kerathermie.

Here are some videos about the alfaparf cauterization

(in portuguese)

If you speak Spanish or at least understand it, your best bet will be brazilian hair and beauty blogs (portugueses is very similar to spanish and you might be able to understand)

apply vita ciment vial, wait 5 minutes, do not rinse
apply oleo fusion, wait 5 minutes
dry hair with blow dryer about 70% dry
apply oleo relax mask massaging strands
cover hair with hair cap, wait 20 minutes
rinse

flat iron

I just bought some Kerastase vita ciment vials and the kerastase oleo fusion vials are on their way. I'll try the kerathermie at home and see.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I use to be a big kerastase fan too. I like alfaparf better though. Both gave nwalker silky hair but kerastase never strengthened my hair like this, their vital ciment line dried my hair out and it was never as strong as it is now with alfaparf. Let me know how the treatment came out

Thanks for the info.Even though I really like Kerastase, it's too much for my pocket, I feel that with Alfaparf and Alter Ego I get quality and results for more amount, specially with the conditioners and masks. My favourite Alfaparf product will always be the blue semi di lino vials. But I'll try to get a cauterization kit from ebay and read more about cauterization on brazilian blogs.

I watched the YouTube video, there are a lot of steps. I just splurged on the Real Shampoo, the Seduction ultra moisturizing shampoo and mask. Maybe when I'm done with the real cream mask I'll try the cauterizing serum. It looks like a great treatment to do after a relaxer.

I'll pm you after I've done the kerathermie at home. My next relaxer is next weekend June 18 so I'll do it the week after. I wonder if I can use masquintense instead of the oleo relax as the last step.

Can't wait to hear about it. I don't see why the masquintense wouldn't work. I just used the seduction moisture shampoo and mask, yummy. I think this is my favorite so far.
