Once in a while I use a curling iron or steam rollers to curl my hair but my hair has trouble holding the curl for some reason. I find that hairspray works well before I curl it but I feel as though it is SO damaging. I was wondering if I at least spray the hairspray into my hand so the alcohol evaporates and then rub it into my hair as opposed to spraying directly into my hair is any less damaging? Does alcohol still have the same effect on the hair once evaporated?
