The organic product you raved about in your post is the B-E-S-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ladies I am HOOKED! Jane Carter Solution Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner. This has got to be the best thing I have EVER tried! I am 9 weeks post relaxer and it feels like silk. I can comb my hair like if I had a fresh relaxer. I don't even need to detangle with this stuff. The comb glides right through.

I am going back to Whole Foods to get the Jane Carter shampoo that goes with this conditioner. And I might as well try the Clarifying Shampoo that you suggested(Avalon Organics Glistening Shampoo). Girl you ain't neva lie. THANKS a MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry girl...I'm goin to cop this TOMORROW!! With all the detangling woes I've been having AND the fact that I'm transitionin to natural/organic products, this may be just what the doctor ordered.

You were definitely heard and appreciated.

Thank you!

So um...Jane Carter is only available in East coast stores. I saw salons & Whole Foods Markets in New Jersey, Michigan, and NY.
Good thing I checked the website. I was thinking that I hadn't seen JC in WFM so I went to the JC website to check it out.
I ordered the poo & con, and the order confirmation said that I should allow 2 weeks for delivery.
I'll wait in anxious anticipation until it arrives...

I have the poo and it smells great. The only problem I had occurred before I even used the shampoo. I realized that it had SLS in it but I was under the impression that it was SLS free. At any rate, the shampoo did not dry my hair out because I don't use shampoo that often and it was o.k. at moisturizing my hair. Plus, it smells very good to me.

The shampoo has SLS! Damn, now I don't know if I should get it. I don't think the products are "organic" but natural. But then doesn't all natural mean no chamicals? Can someone clarify this for me?

Hey NewYorkgyrl, did u use the conditioner as a deep con, with heat. How did u use it? I am interested bc I want to stretch my relaxer and I need all the help I can get bc I am 4b.
Thanks

Are you talking about the Avalon Organics Shampoo or the Jane Carter Shampoo?

I have a Jane Carter starter kit and never used the shampoo or conditioner. I HAVE to give it a try now?

I used the conditioner has a deep conditioner with heat for about 10-15 minutes. But I think it will work without the heat and obtain good results. I felt a difference while I was just putting it on!

Even though the poo has SLS, I hear it's very moisturizing. However, I do plan to find something without SLS that's moisturizing.
This stretch is makin me desperate and I don't like it...

If you didn't use the shampoo/conditioner, did you use any of the other products in the kit? If so, how did you like them?

im not quite sure what the sls is, but if you want complete organic, paraben free, non testing on animals, i would go with the avalon organics. They have the clarifying lemon, and the ylang ylang deep conditioning...
