Ahhh!!!I just tried henna

I used Jamila w/ Nexxus Humectress Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and a tiny bit of Castor Oil (cause I didn't have much left). I didn't even measure I just poured to my heart's content:lachen:
I actually didn't have enough Nexxus so I used some Aussie Moist I had laying around. When I was rinsing I was kind of disappointed because I didn't see any shine but I did feel the fullness. Then I clarified, washed with Mizani botanifying and DCed with moisturefuse. I guess I didn't wash the henna out or something because I saw some come out in the water while I was washing the DC out.
When I looked in the mirror at my hair I was like  "I GOT THE BLINGGGGG". I just set with some rollers and now I'm under the dryer. Some of my grays have turned a reddish color.

I can't wait until I get out:grin:
HENNA IS DA TRUTH!!REAL TALK!!

Congratulations on finding something that can turn your hair care journey in the right direction!

Glad to hear this worked for you! I've been hearing mixed results about henna from both natural and relaxed ladies. The horror stories are pretty bad, but the success stories are pretty good. I'm still scurred of henna....I don't know if I can take the risk.

Congradulations, intergalacticartist. I am glad that you had a good experience with henna. I have been a henna head for about a year now. I absolutely love it.

Yes the horror stories of matting and tangling were SCARY!!! I just bit the bullet and tried it on a small section of hair. It was okay so I just mixed it up and tried it. When I rinsed it out I IMMEDIATELY felt the thickness, couldn't really see it though, it was wierd lol. The shine was RIDICULOUS though. And my hair isn't even all that straight so to see it shine like that was really cool.

And about the pics....eh...my hair is a mess and I guess I'm kinda ashamed to show it. Maybe when I reach shoulder length
