I mean for real ya'll, I never had this problem before, and I found out some things about my birth control medicine that may be the culprit, but it seems for the past year or so, my edges are resistant to relaxer, gel , anything.:wallbash:
It relaxes somewhat straight and stays for about 2 weeks and then it's like I never had a relaxer. I was wondering if it's hormones or something. :wallbash: I'm so embaraased to wear a bun, my edges just roll up in these little beady beads. What the hell??:wallbash:

ya'll talking about edge sticks and all but I need like super relaxer on my edges or something. Not to mention I am graying a little in the front. Could that be the problem tooo?

Help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could it be because of your hair starting to grow out again after a couple of weeks? I know that it seems like a silly suggestion, but it would seem that the shorter hairs around the edges would be more affected by the new growth than the longer hairs that can be pulled back into a bun.

Just a thought....:look:

mm-mm girl. I mean that would be most logical, but I never had roll up peas before.
It's almost as if my texture changed to a tighter curl or is just damn stubborn or resistant. It won't even lay. I'm used to in times past even with new growth putting some jam with a tooth brush and it will at least lay. <---( I know that's old school ghetto, but it works- or at least it used tooooooo:wallbash:)

I have that problem with the right side of my nape. It's never really straight. If anything it looks frizzy.
