And isn't it safe to say if you use Wen you are co washing?

I shampoo my hair before I DC so that my hair can receive the DC as much as possible instead of adding another layer of coating by DCing after a cowash. I also never imagined shampooing after a DC, I just imagine it undoing all that DC goodness that my hair just got. I don't cowash after a DC either. I just rinse it out with cool water, apply giavonni directly leave in or something like that, and seal with an oil and/or butter.

If I'm washing during the week, I typically won't DC, but if it's my standard weekend washing, then I will DC. Standard cowashing can leave my hair feeling mushy, and many of my DCs have some mild protein in them that helps counteract that. My exception is Wen 613, which is simply heaven-sent.
I always DC after a co-wash. This makes sense to me bc I see the co-wash as just that: a wash, albeit with conditioner and not shampoo. A way of gently cleansing my scalp and removing the light buildup of oils/products etc without stripping my hair. The DC is to rebuild/strengthen/protect etc deep within the hair shaft to replace what's been removed during the wash/rinse process. JMO.
