Afro Detangler

I bought some last summer and I like it. I have relaxed hair but it's still works great as a detangler. It's expensive but you get A LOT and a little goes a long way. It will not give you texturized-looking hair if that's what you're looking for tho (tried it on a friend w/ natural hair). It just makes the hair real soft. HTH

Have you tried single bible soft oil before? It doea make the hair very soft.

Sweetwhispers i use that oil as well, it's brilliant for getting my hair nice and soft. I usually use it as a hot oil treatment, on rare occassions i'll use in on my roots.

Anancy My sister loves using it for my neÃ*ce because it defines her curls and keeps her hair soft all day when its out, my little sister who has thick coarse 4b hair loves it too.

OT: Are the little girls in your siggy pic your little sisters? They have gorgeous skin. Little cutie pies. :)

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the Afro Detangler Creme ... you hear me??? ... LOOOOOOOOOOOVE. :D :D

LondonJakki hooked me up (THANK YOU GIRL!!) with a sample and I haven't looked back since. This stuff completes my product needs! It seems like a lot of money but it really isn't. It lasts for at least 6 months.

Hi sweetie,

It's great to see you posting! By chance do you have any more humecto ? Also, which flat iron do you think is best the Sedu or the Chi?

Hey Girl! You know I don't post very often but when I saw Afro Detangler mentioned ... I had to post.

I do have some more humecto but not very much. I quit cosmetology school so I don't have the professional store hook up any long. But I might start up again and, if I do, I will hook you up girl!! :D

I like the Sedu better for relaxed hair but the Chi for getting new growth (and I've got three years worth of it) straight.

I plan on purchasing a sample of the afro detangler once my braids are ready to come down. I have 4a/b hair, that will soon be natural again, so I will get the CHI. I saw a post earlier this week, or maybe last week, where someone mentioned the new SEDU nano flatiron....I wonder if that would work on natural 4 a/b hair.........

I love it too I just ordered it 6 months ago. I am natural and since I am using it my hair is easier to comb and softer ( I never knew my hair could be soft natural ) it's amazing and I really recomend it to everyone.

If I bought this I would need a dispenser or one of those pump sprays...hmm..othewise I would use way too much of the product...

Afro Detangler is a must. When I saw this on line I actually spoke with the creator and she is a wonderful lady.

The price may seem steep but for the amount of time you can use it anywhere from 6-9 months trust me it is worth it.

I have been using it for a over a year and will continue to use it as one of my staple products.

I have tried every detangler on the market and for the price and ingredients it is by far the best one.

do you used it on dry hair? or wet hair? Also explain your technique when using it:)

I have used it both ways. I use it with my twists, braids, flat twists, afro puffs. All the hair styles.

It comes with a pump. Just make sure not to throw away the pump attachment (like I did) or when the container gets low, it won't pump anything out.

I wanted to ask: How do you use this product? You mentioned that it completes your "product needs." Are you using it after washing and conditioning the hair to detangle, as a daily moisturizer, or both?

I don't use it to detangle because it doesn't really detangle my hair. However, it is the ultimate moisturizer. I use it after I comb through my hair (after rinsing out the conditioner). Sometimes I will use it to moisturize my braids.

I never had a moisturizer. Every *moisturizer* I used just sat on my hair and it still felt dry. The Afro Detangler melts in to my strands and keeps them moisturized.

Thanks for your review!

This is a must have. I only have 2 leave ins, my Infusium and the Afro Detangler. This stuff works so well on my new growth esp when I take my hair out of braids. I believe it can last for a very long time. Ive had mine since January. Ive also been using it on my god’s sisters hair and it leave her hair soft and easy to manage.
Its hard to tell from her pic below but her hair is tough, tough, tough. Once we started using this, the tears dramatically reduced.
I recommend it!!
