i came in here thinkin that the question was ''is really good for sensitive scalp'' and that the lye or no lye was a word play(lie)...............i need some mental rest!!

Its no lye, its the relaxer i've used for the last 3 years and I HATE IT! Yes, its easy on the scalp but has dried my hair out so much. I've ruled everything else out, I've been doing everything right and my hair is still dry and straw-like. I've finally come to the conculsion that its my relaxer and its because its no lye. If you use no lye and have no issues than maybe it will be a good perm for you, but I would hate for you to mess up your lovely tresses if it doesn't turn out to be good for you!

Oh wow. i have been using ORS no lye for like 2 years and is fine i have normal dryness and breakage considering am relaxed....

My scalp can't take lye it burns toooooooooooooooo much....

It's no lye, but you still have to base your scalp really well or you might burn (at least I did).

Yea, I agree that my scalp is unbelievable dry and itchy especially right after the Affirm Sensitive relaxer . I hate it too!

But since I've been back washing/co washing three times a week it's been much better. I also try to moisturize as much as possible.
