I used this relaxer, but instead of using the conditioner they suggest( which is step 3), I used Redkin Heavy Cream. You think that is Okay?
 
I dont think it is absolutely necessary to use products in a system... it should be okay if you alternate. As long as your alternating condits are proven to produce good results there shouldn't be a problem.
