'Adornment' - Natural Hair Care Exhibition - UK

Anyone in the UK going to this? 8th-9th April 2007 in Battersea.

Its an exhibition dedicated to all things natural hair.

Has anyone been before - is it better than Afro Hair and Beauty Show coz I find that event so underwhelming

Londontresses - I've never been before but have heard it is sooo much better that the Black Hair and Beauty show. Its all focused on the health and styling of natural afro hair. A friend went last year and she said she's not gonna miss this year.

Maybe we should have a LHCF meet up.

It was very good the last time I went. It was so positive. The 2 things that let it down for me was 1) The food area. They knew how many people they were expected, so why did was there only 4 food stands? The queues were outrageous and there wasn't enough seats to sit down and eat. We went out in the end. 2) The workshops. We had booked quite a few workshops as a group. The braiding one was a big disappointment because the original woman wasn't there, and this.. This PERSON was just rude!
However it was a fab experience, and if I was around for this one I'd be going. I can't believe I'm going to miss Erykah Badu! Cha. *kissing teeth*

Thanks girl. I think I'll be going on the Monday as I've checked out the workshops and its seems like I'll get more out of it than the Sunday....

If we all decided to go on the Bank Holiday Monday we can decide to meet up at a time at a specific place.

Ive never been before so wouldn't know a landmark at the show to suggest. Maybe someone else can suggest a meeting place.

There's a shell petrol station across the roundabout to the park. Or maybe even Battersea Park train station. It's not a long walk from it.Cha, I can't believe I'm going to miss this.
