I did this over the weekend where I simply washed my hair with diluted apple cider and i was plesantly suprised on how clean my scalp was and how shiny and soft my hair turned out even after it was dry. I have 4B hair so after it air dries it can be a tug of wore but with this the comb just glided through. Now my question is if this is safe to do weekly? I really liked the results and not having to deal with tangles like when I use shampoo so if I can avoid that I will. If this will cause issue later for my hair than I will do it once a month.

@Kinkyhairlady, I wash my hair twice a week and every wash ends with an ACV rinse. I do use shampoo though. I personally do not think ACV rinses on their own can clean hair. I know they close hair cuticles (hence the smooth/shiny strands you got), and I will admit that after massaging my scalp in a solution of ACV it does feel clean. But I don't think I'd consider my head clean if I didn't use some soap of sorts to clean first. I think my hair'd have a funny smell of not being clean if ACV rinses were all I did.

I don't get tangles even when I wash my hair loose with shampoo, then condition, then ACV rinse. This hair you see in the image below was just washed that way and combed with this fine-tooth comb and I had no tangles! I do wash in braids though even when my hair is loose. Put another way, I never all tangles to exist in my hair coz I keep my hair stretched and remove shed hair as often as I can while my hair is dry.

The only thing you need to make sure of is that your ACV solution is VERY dilute. Too strong a solution will break down your hair.

Love them. They really help get the buildup off the scalp and as a final rinse they remove any conditioner residue left after DCing. and I agree with Nonie, you'd be surprised how effective a very dilute solution is :yep:
