Hey Ladies! Hope everyone's day has been BLESSED thus far. :yep:

I'm in dire need of a "pep" talk.:ohwell:

Friday I plan on taking out my braids and I am so AFRAID of what my hair will look like. Truly... the braid experience was a BAD idea. I didn't do enough "Research" and I may very well pay for it in the end. I have before photo's, during, and will be posting after on my fotki.

Someone tell me it's oly hair... so I will not have a complete hair meltdown.:perplexed

I think so. I tie down my hair... with a satin scarf. I've been baggying my ends. Most times I bun the braids in the back and keep the ends from being too exposed...

BUT

They are lose...
And the braid is knotted at the end, with some of my hair hanging out of the knot. In taking them down, I had to cut the knots out(the tight ones) and unravel those that I can. I fear I may have cut some of my hair in removing the knots.

I guess I'm jst worried that I could have taken BETTER car eof my hair. Hell, it might just be my mothers brainwashing...

"If you perm your hair... your hair will fall out"

"If you cut your hair... it wont grow back"

"If you color your hair, your hair will fall out"

"If you get braids... your hair will fall out"

Well.... You get the picture.. lol

From a reformed braid wearer, please dont be taking these braids out dry, you need to use either some conditioner and water or the braid take down sprays. Good luck.
