Need to know what lye relaxer you would recommend.
Also, what conditioner should I use right after it has been washed out - is aphogee good or too much for having just applied a relaxer?

Need your help, my long hair inspirations!

What hair type are you?
I know I've heard good reviews about using Arosci's lye texturizer. I believe that Virtuasis used it and she has pics of her texturizer in her hair album.
HTH

I was wearing a natural twa and I just texturized my hair with a mild Creme of Nature relaxer. Now my 4a-4b hair still has some kink to it, but it also has a lot of swirls.

It didn't even burn, btw. I used an Ampro sensitive scalp base on my scalp as a protectant. After I washed out the creme, I neutralized twice and then used my regular conditioner. Suave Humectress. Then after I towel dried my hair, I sprayed some Fantasia IC leave in and voila! I also bought some Infusium as well for another day.

good luck!

i used s-curl for my texturizer. im sure aphogee will be fine to finish it up with. i have pics of my texturized hair in my hair albulm

thanks - i saw some good reviews on CON - will look into it - thanks

I just got it done!!!
So much for knowing my hair type. I always wondered why my hair was always straight in my nape and hairline - 'cause it defintely didn't look like no 2b hair - but lo and behold.
So, my hair texture is actually 3c/4a/2b!!!
Well, got the texturizer - my hair feels great - hopefully I will be able to wear it out as wash n go b/c my front and back has VERY SLIGHT wave in it.
I see the length which is good...kinda missing the strength of my natural texture but i feel this will help me to manage my hair better.
I ended up using Revlon Realistic b/c that was the only lye relaxer other than this 'natural' looking relaxer that was on the shelf.

Good for you. Pic???

I use Revlon Realistic for texturizing too.
