for those of you who used to, or still do use it (if you can find it !!), please tell me what state your hair is in, relaxed, texturized, natural, and how and when you use it. Thanks, I just found some at my local 99 cents store.

I love SSLD and still have some of the bottles I hoarded when it went to the clearance racks. I'm natural and what I love about SSLD is that it serves so many purposes. I use it on wet/damp damp hair and it alone does a great job as a leave-in conditioner and styler with a slight soft hold. It keeps my curls looking damp, shiny & frizz-free after my hair has dried. I've found that Profectiv BreakFree is also similiar to SSLD in those qualitites.

I love SSLD also. For me, it works best when I'm using it as a setting lotion with my sponge rollers. It gives me soft, shiny, bouncy curls!!

I'll have to try using it in the summer with Profectiv BreakFree for my air-dried wet and wavy look...

I found SSLD at Big Lots and the 99Cents only stores too. I have relaxed hair and I use it when I do my braid-out. I also use it when I wash my hair, condition and moisturize it. Instead of braiding my hair, I use a generous amount of SSLD and scrunch my hair in a wave pattern while using my blow dryer with the diffuser. This looks better than a braid-out and has very little shrinkage. I prefer ISO Bouncy Creme to SSLD, however, Bouncy Creme cost a lot more but it does a great job.

I found a bottle of SSLD for 1.49 at Big Lots. I tried using it as a curl "encourager" for my scrunch style but it made my hair crunchy. I will have to give it another try. The price alone is enough reason!
