What kind of daily moisturizer would you ladies recommend if I wear my hair down everyday I dont want the moisturizer to weigh my hair down any suggestions thanks in advance.

Shea/Mango Butter, Strong & Healthy Grow Rx Cream, Coconut, Alma, Olive, Aloe Oils just to name a few.... (These aren't "wet" to the hair)
-HTH :look:

Thanks Ashee I am going to try one of these my hair is extremely dry we moved into a new area and the water is extremely HARD.....my hair is shedding so much and I know it is b/c it is so dry.....every time I touch it some strands come out........

Myhoneychild Honey Love Moisturizer, Honey Hair Soy Milk
Silk Elements Revive and Restore Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion

So is WGO a moisturizer also....b/c I have some of that and it usually doesn't weigh my hair down or what is the name of that NTM serum....

I used to wear my hair down everyday (combed out wrap) and I would lay on the moisturizers at night, because my hair is very fine, most products weigh it down, and if not, they don't moisturize well enough. I used Luster's Light Pink Oil Moisturizer if I HAD to put something on during the day, but many people say they don't like it. It always worked okay on my hair. I don't wear my hair down everyday anymore...maybe once every 2-3 weeks. Other than that, I wear protective styles everyday, so I slather shea butter on my ends and some Vatika Oil on the rest of my hair and put it up; it doesn't matter in that case if my hair is sorta "weighed down."

There was one product that I bought from Big Lots one time by Back to Basics (it was Smoothing Lotion). GIRL THAT STUFF WAS THE BEST MOISTURIZER I HAVE EVER USED. My hair still had bounce, and many people commented on how moist my hair looked. I went back to buy more, and they didn't have anymore, and I haven't seen it there since (about 2 years ago). I even looked on Ebay and couldn't find it. I only paid $1.99 for it. But, I guess with Big Lots being a CLOSEOUT store, it was probably d/c'd.

Awe dang........pink oil moisturizer weighs my hair down so bad....I am going to try the evoo since I am going to be wearing my hair flipped i will put it on the ends of my hair at night before I roll it back up and put my bonnet on.

I went last night and brought some Botanicals Oil from Soft Sheen Carlson....I like it I will try it for a minute it didn't weigh my hair down....

My mom has used that for years. She has a short hair cut (above ears with the back tapered) and it doesn't weigh her fine hair down.

I put some Shea butter from Bath and Body Works on my ends and it feels so good it doesn't weigh my hair down and I think we have similar hair! I also love your flips can you post pics how you roll it???

I flip my hair with the flat irons and at night I take like 5 or 6 rollers and just roll it up I will take some pics tonight so I can show u then I just put my bonnet on wake up in the morning take the rollers out and puff hair back out and up and that is it.

Whenever I wear flips I have to keep using heat so I only do it like once! But I do wrap my hair back around my head! So that could be the problem!!!!!

Yes that might be the problem I brought some big black plastic rollers that dont leave dents in my hair and I only use about 5-6 to roll my hair at night...I am going to take some pics tonight for you,

I use a mixture of water, humectress and a bit of oil. I mix them in a spray bottle, and I mist my hair at night. It works well for me, keeping my hair moisturized, but not weighed down.
