Healthy Hair Quest..
Hey ladies

I just wanted to thank you all (and of course there are ladies that are long gone from this board) so much for contributing techniques, inspiration, reviews and experiences.

My hair had always reached shoulder length then broke off. So, I decided to grow out my relaxer for a number of reasons, that being one of them.

I've been transitioning over a year and the process has not always been easy. As I have not retained any length because the relaxed ends are breaking at a steady pace, my hair is at the healthiest state it has ever been.

Here is a pic of my hair back in December, 2004 (I don't know why the pics are so small):

Here is a comparison pic I did in 2005:

Here the blowout I got a week and a half ago(excuse the football player back:lol: :

On average I'm about 75% natural, 100% is some places, and about 50% in other. The 3 inches from my nape up is all natural!

Hopefully, I can add to the list of people who say: YOU can do it, it can be done!!

HHG ladies!

~op~

ETA: good gracious I'm trying to make this pic smaller but I'm running outta time..so sorry!!!

Lookin' good onepraying! You are doing a great job. How much longer do you plan to transition?

LOL @ "excuse the football player back"

 Onepraying,

Your hair looks thick and healthy. You are doing really well with your transition. Keep up the good work!

That's great that you have dedicated a whole year to haircare! I remember those relaxed ends breaking off from my new growth when I was transitioning. I can't wait to see you fully natural! Btw way, I like the wavy edges you have in your avatar!

Best wishes to you on your journey to natural hair! Happy Hair Growing! :)
