I wash my hair once a week and roller set my hair - how should I go about using this? If I spray it after the fact the hair closest to my scalp is going to get very wavy, where the rest will be straight, and I do not want to use the blow dryer on it - does this make sense??

Any suggestions???

Hi India08:

Why not spray it on as your leave-in before your comb-out. I think that's what the bottle suggests, so that's what I did and the results were very nice. I posted a "surgehair" pic in my album.

I was also wondering how it works on relaxed hair. I will take your advice also. Can I still use lottobody setting lotion w/surge as the leave conditioner?

I wear my hair down everyday in a roller-wrap. I just use surge once a day before I go to bed.
Here's what I do:
I part my hair then spray surge onto my scalp, using one pump from the bottle, so my hair doesnt get too damp.
I then let the spray dry, usally takes about 5-10 min., then I wrap my hair.
In the morining my style is still in tact.

This is pretty similar to what I do, except that I have taken to massaging it into my scalp, very gently, of course. Tonight, I followed that by rubbing some of the woojee cream through my strands and just a little of the LotionMotion #9 on the ends before I wrapped it up for the night. But when I did the set with it I did also use my Lottabody. I had been using a mixture of Lottabody and Wild Growth Oil in my spray bottle for flawless, beautifully soft rollersets, so I can't wait to do one with the MotionLotion, and of course I will post pix of the results.
