It has been a while since I posted in this forum! Goodness!
I BCed (for the sixth time) again (I am done now. I promise.
).
You can see the pics here.
As I note in my post, it felt like "coming home". I am finally at peace enough to do what works best for ME in all facets of my life. Corn-town be darned! (Plus, I'll be gone in 18 months.)
Back to what I am supposed to be doing. G'night ladies.![]()
I was like AGAIN? LOL
Welcome back to the hair section LittleGoldenLamb!
By the way, did you relax your hair, transition and then BC? I always thought short hair looked nice on you. Kudos to you ladies that BC a million times. I did that once and never again!
LOL! Yes, I did!
@BostonMaria
I wanted to be natural for a while, but with my family not for it and the town I'm in being full of openly hostile people I just couldn't sustain the will to endure the heartache.
JUST LAST WEEK some woman didn't like how I looked at work and demanded to know from another employee who I was, and what I did for my job. She had issues with my "look". She's a volunteer!
I can laugh at that now, but in 2012...really (Yes, she was white and happened to be in her 50-60s)?That would have crushed me last year or the years before when I tried BCing/going natural.
The family whose opinions matter to me now fully support me, and I'll be free of this town in 18 months, and I have more than enough worthwhile non-related friends who remind me of who I am when this town does get me down, in the mean time.
