Hi can someone tell me what this woman did to get her hair to look like this

As I would love to be able to do my hair like this once its a lot longer... (currently almost 3 months post BC)

:thankyou:

I'm thinking Bantu knots unraveled. Example:

Or it could be her natural hair texture.

To me it looks like she just twisted and let it air dry. That's how my hair looks when I do it. or it could just be a dry twist out.

Mhmm... could be just her natural texture but depending on your own texture you could recreate it with a bantu knot out.

I think it's a bandu knot out as well. Either that... or a roller set attempt. You know most of the hair dressers on photo shoots love hot rollers.

ETA: I don't think it's her natural hair texture b/c the curl pattern doesn't carry through to the roots. However, it's hard to know for sure based on a picture.

I agree it's hard to know. It's hard to see texture at the base of the hair where hair is compact. I personally think it's her texture. These children's roots don't look like the ends, but I doubt they had bantu knots. The texture is seen in the parts of the hair that stand out in the light and aren't camouflaged by the rest of the strands like the base:

I could sprinkle that lil girl on my cornflakes. She is a doll baby!!

Can I ask a dumb question? I've never done the bantu knots. How do you ladies secure them? Duck bills? Don't they hurt overnight?

^^^ Awh! She's a cutie! "It's a curl" That's so cute!!

*Adds to mental list of things for my unborn, un-conceived child*
