I want to try an air-dried roller-set, but I wasn't sure if I needed setting lotion or something like that. What do you ladies use?

Also, how often do you dust? You're looking for split ends right? I'm always looking for them (I know, it's a lot of manipulation for relaxed hair) but I never find any. Maybe I don't know how to look for them? I know that doesn't have anything to do with roller-setting, but I didn't want to make two threads back to back.:)

I'll answer the bolded part. I only use a good leave-in conditioner and oil or pomade to seal in the moisture before rollersetting my hair to airdry. As of a few months ago, I added just a little serum to my hair before rolling it up (not necessary for all). No setting lotion. I would say use exactly what you would use when rollersetting your hair under a dryer.
