You are to funny, but very thorough L.G.L., I have this leave-in and I don't have any complaints about it either. I liked how my hair felt afterward apply it. Anyway have you ever thought about doing a product review blog?

What horrible reviews? I actually like this leave in!! And that other stuff they make "Break Cure" is heaven. I switched over to it since ORS started putting mineral oil in everything *sigh*

Awesome Fotoki. Great review(s) very helpful and informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences

If enough people would visit it versus just my fotki I would. A blog as part of a larger website would be easier for me. So a blog and a site with reviews put together -blogs are so common now. It's something to think about!

I haven't tried Break Cure, as I haven't had a need. Sounds interesting...hmmm. Anywho, there's A WHOLE THREAD, girl! I almost didn't try it but my curiosity got the better of me and I'm glad it did! Plus, I was out of leave-in. :lachen:

 Tankies! I'm glad it was useful!!

I like this product. I've only used it on dry hair, I'm going to try it on damp hair today.

Thanks for the review, I went out and bought a jar today, went to the gym came home, cowashed, applied the cantu leave in and felt like I opened a jar of heaven. Seriously, it transformed my hair right before my eyes, I am sorry I slept on this for so long.

Why don't you turn it into blog format? Or maybe a website? If you ever need help, lemme know. I like to design in my free time.

Well, it was five pages in Word. :lachen:

It's a long read for a fotki entry! I can tell you that much.:lachen:

Why did I write such a ridiculously long review?

I couldn't figure out why there were so many horror stories about such a great product.

However after some trouble shooting, theorizing, and lots of thought I wrote a review to:

Figure out why some many not have had a good experience with this,
Give my experience,
Give a five point break down of its qualities,
Provide you with an inredieints list,
Suggest the best ways to use it whether you straighten your hair or wear it curly,
Address the infamous "warnings" on the bottle,
Pick apart its claims,
And...entertain you lovely ladies.

SO!

While I know this isn't the first Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in review and won't be the last...I hope it's one of the most informative! :yep:

I've posted a link to the review itself to save you time, below:

I must say before I read your review I thought it was going to be about how bad this product is for the hair, cause I been using this product for 2 months now and my hair loves it. However I was proved wrong and see alot of people enjoy it as much as I do. After I wash or co wash I used this on my towel dried hair, like mention before your hair has to have some time of wetness to it, due to the fact this stuff is so thick and you and it wraps around the hair snuggly, so I take my time when combing it through my hair. I don't have the problem with adding other products with it though like the others, I usually put some gel on the sides to lay it down, but now thinking do I really need to do that, cause i let my hair air dry and tie it up with a silk scarf and still put ORS olive oil creme on my ends. I will try without using anything and see how it comes out. I might be adding to much stuff afterwards.
Overall its a great Leave In, no complaints from me. Also leaves my hair soft when I wake up. Its a keeper.

I didn't think I'd have enough "readers". Or that people would want to come by vs. going to a fotki since so many people are familiar with it.:ohwell:

Thank you for the offer. :yep:

If enough people would care to come by I'd have a website with reviews, style albums, recipies, and narratives as I do now, with a seperate blog for day to day things, now that I think about it.

Maybe in the near future?

I may have to once I get so many reviews that fotki becomes cumbersome...which, now that I'm on 151 and counting...might be sooner than later. :nono:

thanks girl. this is my staple leave in treatment. i use this daily and my ends are super helathy and soft and split end free (at least as far as i can see). this is a def. keeper for me.

I love Cantu Shea Butter!
The Smell is:lick:
I use it after Every wash/co wash and i use it in my Home made Gel.
Its great!

I've been sleeping on this product for awhile now.

I always see it when I'm in WalMart, but have hesitated to even purchase nor read the product ingredients or anything due to some bad reviews I've read on it on here and people's fotkis. Mainly the white balls bits being left in the hair (no matter how little you put in) and that you can't put anything on top of it also.

So how do some of you get around this?

Also, if using this product, can it be *sealed* with an oil without causing the white balls? TIA!

DO NOT MIX WITH ANYTHING ELSE! IT DOES NOT PLAY NICE! IT WILL TURN TO SLUDGE. So...don't seal with it. :nono: Unless you mean sealing the water on your hair into the hair shaft.

It's best, IME, to apply to hair one 80% to avoid product sitting on the hair or "balling" up. :yep:

Bump...Bump...I'd like to know if you can seal with this product

NO! DON'T MIX IT WITH ANYTHING ELSE! IT WILL TURN TO GLUE! :nono: Sealing water into your hair this is good for, but little else. Other wise, it's great.

Yet another fab review from my favorite little lamb :)

I've never even thought of trying it, but after that review, it's on my wishlist :yep:
