This is my first time posting photos. I've been transitioning since April and wasn't sure if I wanted to stay with it, but I definitely am. I love my texture and love my hair!

Not going to share many before, because I don't have many, but I do want to share this one:

because I used to be BALD on both sides, near my ears. Now I have this:

I never, EVER thought I'd have hair there! Thank heavens for this board. My nape is getting longer by the day!

I want to go two years. I started in April of '06, and early May '08 is my college graduation. But I may go more. I'm not itchy itchy to do any BC yet. So at least two years!

Wow! Looks good. Hang in there and best wishes on your transition! I am about 9 or 10 months post, though I cut off a nice bit of hair on a regular basis when I am not in braids.

Man, I wish I could transition. That looks like my natural hair texture. I can't do it though. I'm struggling right now with being underprocessed and 6 weeks post relaxer. Maybe one day in the future I'll be able to do it. I know this board will help me when I make that decision.

YEA for the 08's! I'm graduating in 2008 as well...I'm going to go on a C&G Challenge till we graduate...we should come up with a graduation in 08' challenge for all of the college students.
