I was really doubting if I would make APL for December. I got a touch up on Thursday and it looks like I can make it.

Can you add me to this challenge, I want to be APL by December. I think the back of my hair is apl, but not the sides, and definately not the front.

I relaxed this week, I think I got some good growth. Will post pics soon as I take them. :D

I doubt I will make APL by December but I am giving it the old college try!
 
I'm still not there yet cause I kept trimming :(
I updated though, at least my hair is thickening up though... its really hard to transition and try to grow my hair out at the same time but im trying to stick to it.

I think I'll make it like the last day of december lol:ohwell:

I'm still trying, it's going real slow but if I don't make it by Dec. 31st it should happen real early (hopefully) next year.:yawn: Progress pics are in my fotki not much going on in the length dept. but some of yall have told me that it looks healthier. :crossfingers: I'm in for the final stretch.
 
I think I am there, but i don't want to claim it until I get my Texlax next week and post pics. If I am not there yet, I think I am super duper close.

I'm transitioning... so shrinkage is a B&%$!$

I am barely there ladies but I made it! I couldnt wait to texlaxed because I started seeing some breakage which is always my sign to do what I gotta do.

This time I only lasted 7 1/2 weeks. I only took 1 photo because I am not great with styling! (Excuse my raggedy ends!)

Its the pic below! The vitamins and protein are doing a number on me physically though lol...I'M GETTIN THICK!!! LOL

:trampolin:update:This is just a lil strand test I did last night.
I think I may be there but I wont be able to tell until Feb 08. Thats when I will be able to see the length of all my hair.

I'm still trying to hide my hair from myself, but I noticed it does reach APL (barely) in the front. Whatever... how's everybody else coming along?

I think I'm in this challenge :look::spinning:

But I didn't make it :sad: Well, some of my hair in the back is there, but my layers are only shoulder length. Until my shortest layer reaches APL (full APL) then I won't claim it.

Hopefully I can make it by May/June of next year!
 
I didn't make it I know that 2in trim (was the first one in years) would throw me off lol... but by FEB I hope!!!
I got maybe 2-3 inches in the back area bc I have layers.:yawn:

i just nearly broke my arm
trying to take these pictures

i wish you could get a better sense of the length
but since my arm is up, it's hard to tell where the hair falls.

either way not all of my hair is this length, though
the front and sides are shorter
and my hair definitely isnt even lol

EDIT: i was just going back through the pages of this challenge and found the picture i posted. the growth is crazy. we all seem to underestimate our growth until we see it in pictures.

Im not going to make it.

My longest layer is APL but the rest is all over the place. lol I know my bangs wont hit apl for another year but I wont claim it until MOST of my hair hits APL(excluding bangs).

that is pretty much my situation
i'm CLOSE in this part of my hair
but the rest isnt.

we'll be closer in no time, though!!!
 
No matter what happens ..I'm so proud of us all. Went through the posts and even those ladies who state they will not be making APL by 30/Dec, you have all had great progress. One of the reasons I loved being apart of the challenge is ..It made us strive for health hair and progress. So in the end no one is a looser ..WE ARE ALL WINNERS !:grin:

I did some cutting so I'm not going to make it. :( I'm about to get layers tomorrow so I'll be even further off.
 
I didn't make it. Had to cut A LOT off because my hair was so dry and horrible looking since I became pregnant. It is now just starting to look and feel better.
