and as it got longer became looser? I love my tight curls and was wondering will they change alot or little as I cut the str8 ends off. I know if they stay like they are I will be able to wear great two strand twists. What do you guys think?

Ummm...it depends on the place on your head and how tight the curls are...my hair is definitely still uber curly in the back and slightly wavier/looser curl on the top...I think that the weight of the hair is what makes the curl elongate.

I need frames of reference re. tight vs. looser. I have coils that are pen spring sized up to a larger size (not as large as a straw but I don't know what an in-between example size might be)....

I think length is factoring into how the texture presents itself

My hair actually curled up more after I cut it. The relaxed hair was weighing it down.

Yeah, usually your strands curl more tightly after you cut the relaxed ends off. I think I've sort of noticed that it seems to take some 4a hair a minute to relax into its final curl pattern after the BC though. Just an anecdotal observation.

I am sooo ready to BC but my hair is a almost armpit. I think I'll keep cutting every three months but I kinda just want to cut and start over.
