Hi All,
I'm new to the board and new to transitioning. I've been lurking and getting great hair care tips from everyone. I got pretty good at taking care of my relaxed hair (it's almost to my bra strap), but now I'm in the completely new world of transitioning.
I've decided to transition by wearing rollersets and pinned up roller sets, etc. Recently, because of finals, I've been in the house more often and this gives me more time to condition my hair. For the past few days I've been condition washing (so that I don't have to manipulate my dry hair) with various conditioners: VO5, JASON, or Nexxus + EVOO on top of it. I'll soak in the tub for an hour or two (while studying) and rinse it out.
My question: does this daily deep conditioning seem excessive? I'd think it would prevent breakage at the demarcation line, but it may be too much manipulation.
Second question: Has anyone found that daily conditioning makes their curl more defined (that is to say less frizzy when dried)?
Thanks in advance!
