After all the complaining about my sew in, I FINALLY got the itching under control (it did not stop until my hair underneath grew out some...does that mean it was too tight?)

Anyway, I went for my 4 week maintenance appointment today (which I needed because it was starting to look RUFF!!!!!) and the weave-ologist said I could keep it in for up to three months.

I already know I don't want to keep it in that long, but I was wondering--weavers--when is a good time to take it out?

I want to get my money's worth out of this overpriced hairstyle, but not at the expense of my hair health. I'm thinking two to four more weeks?

What y'all think?

In my opinion you should not keep a weave in for longer than 2 months. So basically you should take it out in 4 weeks....

HTH

This is so true!!! I never mine in longer than 2 months. However, you will see some people on here that keep it in for MUCH LONGER. I just don't do it myself. I just got a sew in yesterday and I will be taking it out by the middle of April!
