Out of curiosity I just need to know some simple questions........

1. Is it okay to flatiron ur hair using Chi Silk Infusion after a relaxer without it weighing the hair down?
2. Would air-drying until its dry (3 hrs) be the same as sitting under a hooded-dryer for 1 hr?
3. In ur 'personal opinion' do you feel as though a scalp massager (shampoo brush) is a good way to stimulate ur scalp while shampooing?

i don't know. i've used CSI before but not after a relaxer. Plus my hair doesn't get weighed down easily.

2. Would air-drying until its dry (3 hrs) be the same as sitting under a hooded-dryer for 1 hr?
i find that the hooded dryer controls my hair better than airdrying. airdrying always leaves my hair a frizzy mess while the hooded dryer leaves it less crazy and straighter.

i've never heard of a shampoo brush. it sounds like it could really rip through your wet hair. i'd stick to massaging my scalp with my fingertips while shampooing if i were you. Better be safe than sorry.

1) CSI does NOTHING for my flat ironed hair, but is amazing on my air dryed hair...go figure!

2) I think drying under the hood may control frizzies better.

3) I think a finger massage, NOT NAILS, is just as effective without the risk of damage/scalp irritation. MY scalp can't take it...I'm tenderheaded, though.

Now, that I'm reading this...I wasn't much help, huh? :perplexed

Can't help you on the first two questions (I'm natural and don't flat iron... yet)

As far as the shampoo brush... I just picked one up and used it tonight for the first time!:D I like it. It is plastic with soft but firm rounded tip nubs. It reminds me of a nubby body massager. I didn't brush through my hair with it. I just scratched around my scalp with it. It feels pretty great. I can't wait to use it with my tea tree cowash!:D

This is the one that I picked up today. 80 cents at Big Lots!

1. Is it okay to flatiron ur hair using Chi Silk Infusion after a relaxer without it weighing the hair down? Yes- this is when I use it & my hair is always bouncy!!

2. Would air-drying until its dry (3 hrs) be the same as sitting under a hooded-dryer for 1 hr? Yes, for me it is. I use a serum (Neutrogena Leave-In) that helps frizzies.

3. In ur 'personal opinion' do you feel as though a scalp massager (shampoo brush) is a good way to stimulate ur scalp while shampooing? Never used one, so can't help on this one.

That brush looks nice. Normally I see the ones with smaller teeth much closer together, and I've never bothered with them as I figured they were better for fine 1a type folx, but I may see if I can find one like yours. I did have a stylist use one on my hair before, and it felt nice, but I was relaxed and still never botherd to buy my own. I have about 20-or so bottles of conditioner from big lots/odd lots when I found a paraben free one there for 2 bucks each, so I've been itching to buy something for my hair, but I'm all stocked up.

I've seen these type of brushes. They just look like trouble. I can just see one my getting lost in my hair .

Don't you just LOVE the bargains!? I only allow my self to go in those types of stores once a month or so.
