I believe what is considered the "average" rate is 1/2 an inch per month. So every two months is an inch. For 8 months, it would be 4 inches. However, 3 1/2 isn't that far off, and I'm sure some of the much slower growers would agree any growth is "good."
agree with SweetSpirit. 3.5 inches is an average growth rate for a lot of people. I definetely think is enough in this period of time. Besides you should be aware that hair grows different, in the same person, in differents time of the year. I don't know since when you were looking at your hair growing rate,but people say that they experiment more growth in the winter than in summer. For me is the other way around, so i'm not expecting too much grow this coming winter
I agree with the above post, because if it's healthy it a great thing. Also was that most of the hair or the not so thinned out part??? More details or pictures would be great.
