Okay, I'll make this brief: HENNA ROCKS!!

An unintended side effect: I can go longer in between washings because 1) I have practically NO dandruff now, and 2) my head doesn't get as stinky.

Has anyone else had this side effect, or am I going batty?

Your are not going crazy at all!! With the start of the colder weather my dandruff had started to get really out of control. I had upped my washings to 2 or 3x a week from my regular 1X a week and it still didn't help. I even cheated on my new love, Aveda, to use the Keracare Dry and Itchy Shampoo which did absolutely nothing. My mom kept asking me if I was using a new mousse or hairspray that was flaking up on my scalp.:ohwell:

But after my first henna application all that was O-V-E-R!! I really can't sing the praiseseof henna enough. All the women in my family are slowly becoming henna heads as well, I'm all about spreading the word!

I'm doing my 1st henna treatment right now...I hope to have great results as well..wish me luck

Congrats, I can't wait I finally broke down and order some. I order a small amount because I am scared, I still have color in my hair. I am going to keep it simple. I am glad it worked out for you.

Glad to see another HAPPY HENNA CONVERT! I've got mine on now, had to get my last 06 treatment in. :) I love what henna does for my hair.....1. NO itchy, dry scalp, 2. 3x thicker hair, 3. SHEDDING IS HISTORY( maybe 8-10 hairs), 4. WOW! Super soft, wavy newgrowth.

I agree henna rocks! My hair is thicker and all my grays are gone baby!!!

I could go on for hours... lol!

My Henna treatment came out great..I did the 2 step w/Indigo because my hair was already dyed black w/Bigen (will never use Bigen again)..My hair is so black, shiny & strong which is exactly what I wanted..it's thicker too, which I wasn't neccessarily looking for as I already have type 4z hair but I stll love it..I think I'll really appreciate the xtra thickness when I start wearing my hair down.

Not to highjack, but I also use Bigen in black, and have been wanting to do the same, but I'm so scared. Can you tell me exactly what you did. You can pm me if you like.

[SIZE=+1]I hope to make it my new best friend soon. I'm still waiting on my samples.

I want to experience the no itching, color, and the shine as well.

It's so inspiring to hear about all of your henna successes. :yep: I have a question, besides the hair, how does henna effect the scalp?
