So after attemtping this style about 5 times already I had given up. Then I was inspired again after seeing Nik Star do one on her blog so I tried again and FINALLY it came out good, not great but good enough for me to go to work

I used water, Twisted Sista Curl Activator and sealed with my Shea Butter Mix, and I made six knots total

What do you think?

I know the quality sucks, but my phone sucks, what can I say :look:

This is a silly question... But am i supposed to do bantu knots on wet/straight out the shower hair, or dry hair with product?

I've tried them both ways... except I let my hair air dry slighting before starting to cut down on drying time...

I've had successful results with both but the wet hair takes wayy longer to dry! HTH

indarican I do them both ways for different effects. I have my dry twists in bantu knots right now. Lol

OP, you look so cute! If bantu knots are too hit-or-miss for you, do a flat twist-out with rollers on the end. The curl will be elongated, but have the same effect as a bantu knot.

I did mine on dry hair that I made damp with my spray bottle and used product. I've tried it both way both with more knots and less knots and this by far is the best results.

If I did it on soaking wet hair it wouldn't have dried overnight, heck some knots were still a little damp even on this damp hair bantu knot out.

Oooo I am going to try that, now what kind of roller should I use?
Thanks :)
