Has anyone else noticed that this conditioner does not provide great slip. I find my hair feels stronger but it does not detangle too well. Should I use another conditioner for a quick 3 mins after my deep condition w/Fiberguard?

I get great detangling from this conditioner. But if your hair has product build up on it and needs to be clarified, this conditioner won't slip or detangle jack for you.

Also if you use this conditioner and it does work well, the next time it won't because it coats the hair with the ingredients that make it a "fortifying" conditioner.

I get good detangling from it too. I just don't get good moisture.

Supergirl,

What if I used it right after washing out my relaxer? Although I did use SoftSheen Carson Breakthru Shampoo right before I applied the Fiberguard. Could this be why?

It's definitely okay to use after relaxing. I'm not sure if the Break-Thru Shampoo would have been the cause or not. I've never used that shampoo. If it heavily coats the hair like CON shampoo does, then yes it could've been the problem.

Breakthru shampoo is similar to CON so it definitely has a coating.
