18 months since BC and I am no longer Natural!

I decided to texturize my hair due to the frustration of being stuck at the TWA stage after a year since BC (shrinkage). I also wanted the option of being able to go straight when I wanted a change without all hassle of using the pressing comb, blowdryer and the flatiron just for it to start frizzing up as soon as I was finished.

Anyway, here are some pics!! So far I am pleased with the results.

Thanks!! My natural hair color is off black. I used 3 different Clairol haircolor (Light chocolate brown, light auburn and honey blonde) to create this look.

What texturizer did you use? It looks so awesome! I would do this, but I am confused on how to touch up the texturizer.

I used Scurl regular strength texturizer (blue jar). I mixed 4 tablespoon of the relaxer with 2 tablespoon cholesteral and I used my fingers just to smooth the curls in small sections. When I was finished smoothing with my fingers I let it sit for 5-10 mins then I rinsed. I am not quite sure how I am going to handle the touchups. I might just do a touch up every six months or so but I will have to see when my new growth comes in.

It looks nice. Keep us updated. I texturize and only do the new growth. I base the touch up on how much new growth I have. I try to do every 4-6 months.
