$154 Brush!!! Mason Pearson?

Jlove, do you remember where you got the Mason Pearson roundbrush? I've been looking for one and can't find it.

I got it from a BSS in Los Angeles. I recall getting that one much cheaper because the sales lady said that it was going to be discontinued.

Has anyone ever heard of this brush? Why does it cost so much? Beauty.com is selling it for $154. Check out the link.

I have it. I only use it the first 3 weeks after a relaxer, when it can glide smoothly through.

I've never really checked out their brushes, but I did drop $60 on three of their seamless combs. I got a wide tooth, a rat tail, and a dressing comb. I love them!

I know its pricey, but I did want to give it a try (the much cheaper travel sized version of course). I want a natural bristle brush that successfully brushes my hair back when I want to wear it up. The ones I have only work when I use A LOT of pressure.

For that price it needs to grow ur hair an inch for every use...Broke college students like me can't dish out that kinda money for no brush....Plus my mother would probably kill me if she found out.
