I'm glad they used a natural hair gal. But I'd say there were no natural hair gals in the 1980s and 1990s. Also, styles of today are all gelled and stuff, aren't they? We black girls discovered our curls!

They gave her a cute natural free form fro. The curls are popping in the 2010s, but some people still like the carefree look.
