Love your hair. Gorgeous progress. Care to share your regimen. And how long did you transition?

Sorry for all the questions, but how did you achieve the style in the last picture? I am relaxed but strongly thinking about bc'ing in a year or so. And your hair looks exactly how I would love for it to look. My 9 month post NG tells me I'm 4a in the crown and front and 4b behind my ears and the back. Thanks for your reply.

Dang girl! You still smoking that Miracle Grow weed you were tellin' me 'bout? And you have no plans of sharing any of it, huh?

Beautiful progress! :notworthy

I don't have a strict regimen. I do what I want or what I feel my hair needs at that given time.

Typically I co wash sometimes just once a week or if I'm doing a wash and shingle I may cowash 2-3 times a week.

For my cowashes I usually use tressemee naturals, wen or trader joes tea tingle conditioner.

In the last 12 months I straightened only once and honestly I didn't really even straighten it as you can see. Next year I may straighten (for real!!) 2-4 times if I feel up to it.

More often than not I will do a brist out (braid at the top then twist the lower inch or two). I like that pattern better these days than a braid or twist out.

My hair has to have heavy moisturizing so it drinks up the qhemet cocoa detangling ghee or burdock cream. My hair loves that!!! I also seal with whatever oil I have on hand.

I trim maybe once a year I guess.

The crucial thing for me is no heat and moisture.

Leslie_C I didn't transition. I was already natural. Before I chopped my hair when stretched was at least apl. I chopped because my hair made me mad :look: one small part had the smallest tiniest amount of heat damage so I cut it all off.

ronie I shared my regimen above :)

The style you like was a brist out that was on day 2. The definition for me usually only lasts a day or two. Diana Ross hair is imminent for me it seems  at night I put my hair in two low and lose ponytails. This helps keep it stretched and I can wear it out maybe 2 or 3 days before I need to braid it up again.
